Our hearts and minds are turned to the east, and to our friends in Japan who are suffering so greatly and so bravely at this time. We were so touched and inspired by the country and its people during our last visit in 2009, and want to reach out to do something more for our friends in the land of the rising sun.
Inspired by the Japanese flag, recycled sterling silver is accented with opaque artisan glass. Lightweight but vibrant with color, you may just forget that you're wearing them - but no one else will. These are a delicate, wearable size - about 30 mm (1 1/4 inches) in diameter.
With each sale of these earrings we will donate $25 to Shelterbox USA. One ShelterBox can sustain ten people with dignity - it would only take 40 sales of these hoops to reach our goal of sending at least one ShelterBox to Japan!
